Uponor Launches New Webinar Series for Industry Professionals

Recently, Uponor introduced a new series of free, one-hour webinars for industry professionals on the go. Six online training programs feature information from radiant applications to controls to even sustainable building resources. 

“At Uponor, we want to ensure professionals have the opportunity to receive the highest-quality education available, whether in person or remotely,” says Steve Lockridge, senior manager, Sales Operations at Uponor. “By providing factory, field and online training programs, we can effectively extend our reach to all those that are seeking the most up-to-date training and education in the industry.”

All of the following webinars are from 1 to 2 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) and recorded webinars are also available for download on the Uponorpro.com site in the Web Training section.


Aug. 24, 2011: LEED® and Green Building Options

Devin Abellon, business development manager for Uponor Engineering Services, will offer an overview of Uponor’s role in garnering LEED points for water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, material resources, indoor environmental quality and innovative design as well as review case studies of Uponor LEED projects.


Sept. 21, 2011: Uponor Advanced Design Suite™ (ADS) and LoopCAD®

Adam Griffith and Andrew Koppi, Design and Technical Services representatives for Uponor, will offer an overview of the Advanced Design Suite (ADS) and LoopCAD software packages for radiant heating and cooling design as well as review Uponor’s available technical services.


Oct. 19, 2011: Uponor Climate Control Systems

Jeff Wiedemann, product manager, Application Controls, will offer an overview of the Uponor Climate Cŏntrol™ Line, including product demonstrations, new product enhancements, installation tips and case studies.


Nov. 10, 2011: Snow Melt and Permafrost Prevention Systems

Dec. 14, 2011: AHR Preview 2012
