Uponor Factory Training Schedule For Second Half of 2008 Now Available

Uponor has released its Factory Training Program dates for the second half of 2008. The three-day sessions are currently available for reservations for the months of July through December.

Since the inception of its popular factory training program in 1993, more than 10,000 heating professionals have attended at least one training session at the Uponor facility in Apple Valley, Minn. In addition, Uponor representatives have offered onsite training to nearly 100,000 plumbing, heating and fire safety professionals.

Uponor offers these exclusive classes for the latest in professional training and education for those interested in sharpening their skills in the radiant heating industry. For the second half of 2008, Uponor will continue to offer weekend and weekday training sessions which include the following dates:

July 17-19: Radiant Design, Application and Operation
Aug. 6-8: Radiant Design, Application and Operation
Aug. 21-23: Radiant Controls and Electronics
Sept. 8-10: Radiant Computer Design and Mechanical Piping (ADS) (Note: This class is now full.)
Sept. 25-27: Radiant Design, Application and Operation
Oct. 1-3: Radiant Design, Application and Operation
Oct. 27-29: Radiant Computer Design and Mechanical Piping (USDS)
Nov. 3-5: Radiant Controls and Electronics
Nov. 13-15: Radiant Design, Application and Operation
Dec. 1-3: Radiant Design, Application and Operation


Brief descriptions of the three courses follow:

Radiant Design, Operation and Application develops an understanding of the key elements of radiant floor heating systems, including delivery fundamentals, installation techniques, zoning, balancing and heat loss.

Radiant Computer Design and Mechanical Piping educates students about the ADS software, boiler piping and circulator sizing or the Uponor USDS design program. (Attendees can sign up for either the ADS class or the USDS class.)

Radiant Controls and Electronics focuses on the Uponor Climate Cŏntrol™ Line, as well as zoning and wiring.
